CON.TXT 2018 Panel Schedule is Done!

This year's schedule of panels and activities is ready and you can see it on the CON.TXT website now. Thanks to all our fantastic panel mods who have volunteered! We'd like to highlight a few things that we're excited about this year:

• Since the Do It Yourself panel slots have been very popular in the past, we are offering 15 DIY panel slots this year. We will have more info about how to sign up for them closer to the con.
• We will again have some panels that run 85 minutes instead of 55, and for the panels we expect to be very popular, we will have double sized room.
  
• We've provided hashtags for each panel if you'd like to livepost it on Twitter. (please remember, it is a violation of the CON.TXT Code of Conduct to take and share con-goers picture without permission, though!)

So go take a look at the schedule and start planning out your weekend!

We will likely still be working out some small details, like extra co-mods or last minute schedule moves over the next few weeks, so it is alway subject to change.

We will be accepting pre-orders HERE for ONE WEEK only! Then, collect your shirt at the con. The nyanduck design is printed in full color on a white, 100% cotton, short-sleeved Hanes tagless tee. Sizes run S through 6X, as described on the Hanes size chart:

Pre-orders will close at 5 p.m. on TUESDAY, JULY 10. There may be a few extras for sale at the Orphan Table at the Fan Fair on Saturday, July 28th, but we can only guarantee you a shirt if you pre-order! Shirts are $20 each, payable in cash at CON.TXT's registration desk; the proceeds will support the con. We will not be taking prepayments.

Want to volunteer for CON.TXT?

Are you looking for a way to be more involved with CON.TXT? How about volunteering at the con?

Volunteering can be a great way to participate in the con if you're new or feeling nervous. You'll have a place to be, designated things to do, and tasks that can range between social, lightly-social, and hardly-social-at-all.

Jobs:

Security/registration - check that everyone coming into the con space has a badge, loan out Upsuite badges, give panels their 5 minute warning. This is a seated assignment. You will always be working with another volunteer with a concom member nearby. Volunteers needed all day Friday-Sunday.

 

Downsuite set up - help concom members and other volunteers set up the Downsuite. Volunteers needed Friday morning before panels start.

 
Fan Fair set up and staffing - help concom members and other volunteers set up and staff the Orphans table during the Fan Fair. Volunteers needed Saturday afternoon.

 
Breakdown - help concom members and other volunteers pack up the Upsuite and the Downsuite after the con is over. Volunteers needed Sunday afternoon.
