CON.TXT

We've heard from several CON.TXT attendees who've had a hard time booking a room at the con rate.

If you run into problems, just go ahead and book a room at the next best rate. Then email your confirmation number, the name under which you made the reservation, and your contact info (a phone number or email address) to hotel@con-txt.net.

With that information, our meeting rep at the hotel can go into the booking system, manually fix your reservation, and contact you directly to confirm -- most likely on the next business day.

CON.TXT 2012 will be held once again at the Crowne Plaza (formerly the Holiday Inn Crowne Plaza) in downtown Silver Spring, Maryland, just over the border from Washington DC, with convenient access to the Metro (Red line, Silver Spring station) and a wide variety of food and entertainment establishments within walking distance.

$115 for a double or king room (plus taxes, etc.). This is a special CON.TXT rate, and it is guaranteed only until late May. We've set aside plenty of doubles, but only a handful of kings, so if you want a room with a king bed, be sure to reserve early!

* You can call the number listed above and say you are reserving for CON.TXT. If you are told that no CON.TXT rooms are available, please do not reserve a room at the regular rate. Instead, contact us so we can increase the size of the CON.TXT con block. This will help make the con better for everyone.
