Title: The Joy of Fandom Mod(s): TreeWishes Category: Meta Description: Remember when fandom was the biggest joy in your life? Remember? Let's figure out where the joy comes from, how things have changed, how Joy and Sadness (and Fear and Disgust and Anger) can all be part of the fannish experience. Other notes: I'm thinking about sharing a few clips from Inside Out(TM) to get the meta juices flowing :)
Title: Brakebills Really Needed a Sorting Hat (The Magicians) Mod(s): TreeWishes Category: Single Fandom Description: Some call this Harry Potter for Adults, but it's so much more than that! The Magicians really stepped up it's game in Season 3, and while the mixing and matching of partners and pairings can leave you a little dizzy, the show has been magnificent. Let's sort our favorites into their proper houses, natter about best-bitches, how Julia is a must better Hermione than Hermione, how Penny can be so damned pretty, whether we love Josh40 or Josh23, and how maybe Quentin isn't so boring after all. Other notes: There may be clips. There may also be glamour eyepatches.
Title: Fairy Tales (and where to find the good ones) Mod(s): TreeWishes Category: Multi Fandom Description: Fairy tales are an old-old fandom, and some of the modern retellings are pretty great. Perhaps it's the female leads that are kicking it up? Let's talk about which version of Red Riding Hood and Cinderella we love best, and why Evil Queens simply rule. Other notes: Everyone gets fairy wand!
Title: The Marvel Big Bang (Infinity War) Mod(s): TreeWishes Category: Multi Fandom (or I guess you could call it Single Fandom?) Description: How great was Thor 3? Winter Soldier? Black Panther? and now it's all rolled up with Infinity War. What did this do for this mega fandom and what does it mean for the future? Other notes: This will have been out for 3 months by the con, so this will need a bit of a rewrite, I hope :)
Title: Timey-Wimey Superheroes (Legends of Tomorrow and the Berlanti-verse) Mod(s): TreeWishes Category: Single Fandom (or I guess you could call it Multi Fandom?) Description: The gang on the WaveRider had a slow start, but has really come together with a bang (or two). How much do we love Sarah and Ava? What does Wally bring to the gang? And who doesn't miss Captain Cold (especially Mick - snif/snif)? This will likely veer into commentary on Flash and Arrow (but those are so boring these days, aren't they?) Other notes: They! Are! Legends!
Title: Fandom in Your Ears (Fannish Podcasts) Mod(s): TreeWishes Category: Multi Fandom Description: Podcasts have totally broken out in the past couple of years, and can be a great comfort during the fannish diaspora. Let's talk about the Three Patch, Fangirl Happy Hour, Galactic Suburbia, and find ways to get more fandom in our ears. Other notes: This will have been out for 3 months by the con, so this will need a bit of a rewrite, I hope :)

Title: Clones, Counterparts, and Doppelgangers Mod(s): TreeWishes Category: Multi Fandom Description: Self-on-self crossovers used to be the only in fanfic, but the combination of better effects and great actors has given us some terrific on-screen doppelganger drama. Let's talk about Orphan Black, Counterpart, and how just about every show these days is doing a multi-universe crossover. Other notes: A starting list: Supergirl, Arrow, Magicians, Killjoys... we definitely need to brainstorm on this!
Title: The Doctor... has girl bits Mod(s): TreeWishes Category: Single Fandom Description: So we have a female Doctor, but is she really the first? Let's talk about how women have veered close to Doctor-hood over the years, and why it was finally time to make it official. Was the Doctor the first canon trans character on screen? And which of the women who were almost-Doctors could have carried the role? Other notes: Cosplaying highly encouraged.
Title: Lady Killers Mod(s): TreeWishes Category: Multi Fandom Description: There are so many great female leads on screen these days who are killing it. I mean, really killing them. A lot. Wynonna Earp (and let's not forget Willa and Waverly), Jessica Jones, Liv Moore (iZombie), Dutch (Killjoys), Vanessa Helsing, ... and so many others. What's up with women as badass killers, what makes them so great, and who doesn't love Captain Killy (Discovery)?? Other notes:
Title: But they keep not running away? (Marvel's Runaways) Mod(s): TreeWishes Category: Single Fandome Description: The Runaways is a great comic and now a fascinating live action show. The actors playing the kids are amazing, and even better are the adults! Let's talk about all the great cross-generational, cross-species, and incestuous slashy goodness. And why is it taking them so long to run away? Other notes: And don't forget Nico's hair!
