Pre-order CON.TXT's exclusive t-shirt design for one week only!

To celebrate our tenth anniversary, we're flashing back to the due South fandom with a t-shirt specially designed for CON.TXT!

Artist Aimee Fleck's hand-lettered design features the quote "There's red ships and green ships, but there's no ships like partnerships" (said by Kowalski to Fraser in the last episode of due South) in white ink on CON.TXT's signature purple shirt.

We will be accepting pre-orders HERE for ONE WEEK only! Then, collect your shirt at the con.

Shirts are 100% cotton, short-sleeved Hanes tagless tees. Sizes run S through 6X, as described on the Hanes size chart:

Pre-orders will close at 5 p.m. on TUESDAY, JULY 12. There may be a few extras for sale at the Orphan Table at the Fan Fair on Saturday, July 29th, but we can only guarantee you a shirt if you pre-order!

Shirts are $20 each, payable in cash at CON.TXT's registration desk; the proceeds will support the con. For reasons that don't need exploring at this juncture, we will not be taking pre-payments. There's no need to go to Chicago on the trail of your father's killer, but you will need to come to CON.TXT to collect and pay for your shirt!

We hope you'll be excited to support CON.TXT while giving a nod to a classic fandom in our exclusive shirt!

And don't forget, only two more days to register for the con! After Thursday, you'll have to register at the door and pay an extra $5.

I'm curious as to why you're offering these in men's sizes only when the vast majority of the membership isn't shaped for men's sizes.

Women's cut t-shirts tend to run small and top out at fairly small sizes--very few go above a 2X. We weren't able to find a vendor within our price and time constraints that offered women's shirts in larger plus sizes, so we went with the men's/unisex shirt that offered the widest size range.

If there's enough interest in shirts this year for us to put in a larger shirt order in 2018, then we will definitely look at offering multiple styles.

Thanks for answering. I was hoping it was something like that. (It's a sore point because I'm in an ongoing fight with my workplace to get women's rather than men's size shirts for its 90%+ female staff... and they don't get above a 2xl anyway.)
